It is common knowledge that all cars and 4×4’s must get an under-body rust treatment every 5 -10 years of driving on Irish roads.
We recommend that even new or 1-3 year old cars should get it done in order to avoid the expensive welding repairs in the future.
We have developed a comprehensive 3-4 day under-body rust treatment for cars and 4×4’s including steam chassis flush, abrasive blasting, welding and quality stone chip protection.
We understand that people take pride in their cars and want only the best service possible especially when it comes to undercarriage rust.
That’s why when we take a car for the treatment the client will receive daily whatsapp videos of the progress. This gives the client a piece of mind and guarantee that the car is worked on and the progress of every stage is recorded and instantly sent to the client.

Process:
When car is delivered to our workshop we start with detailed cleaning of the undercarriage and chassis flush using hot pressure washer and degreasing chemical solution.
Blasting: Next step is abrasive blasting commonly called sandblasting, for that we use recycled crushed glass.
Welding: Clean and blasted car is moved to the welding unit. Almost every 10-15 year old car requires extra, that’s why we always recommend to bring the car when its 1-3 year old to avoid such repairs in the future.
Cut Corrosion: Our highly skilled tradesmen will cut out any corroded areas and fabricate the metal elements in the workshop. The welder welds the plates onto the car and chassis.
Applying Coatings: The next stage is the protective coatings application, this is very important part of the treatment and all products and carefully chosen and tested.
Drying: We start with detail drying of the undercarriage and the inner section of the chassis, as you could imagine the chassis is full of moisture after the chassis flush. In order to successfully apply the cavity wax the chassis must be crispy clean and dry.
That’s why we designed a machine that will blow hot air at a rapid speed directly on the undercarriage and also directly in to the inner section of the chassis.
Protective Coating: When the undercarriage and inner section of the chassis are crispy clean and dry we start the application of protective coatings.
Rust converter and Epoxy Primer: Step one is application of the rust converter and epoxy primer. The overall chemical reaction converts rust into a stable, black protective polymeric coating that serves as an excellent primer for the further coats.
stone chip protection: After the rust converter we apply multiple coats of undercarriage stone chip protection. We use durable thixotropic, bitumen based protective coating with very good rust proofing and sound deadening properties. The best solution for an effective vehicle under-body protection.
Car Wash: Car is left overnight to cure. The next day we clean the car using snow foam and hot power washer.
At this stage car is ready for collection and ready to be driven for many more rust free years.
We also provide chassis and full body galvanising service for the more demanding clients.
